Tidio pricing in 2026 starts with a Free plan, then Starter at $29 a month ($24.17 a month billed annually) and Growth from $59 a month ($49.17 billed annually). Plus starts at $300 a month plus usage, and Premium is quoted on request. The plan price covers human live chat conversations only. The Lyro AI agent and the Flows automations are separate meters, from $39 and $29 a month respectively ($32.50 and $24.17 billed annually), so the real bill for an AI chatbot on Tidio is usually two or three line items, not one.
The figures below come from the Tidio pricing page as checked in October 2026. The page shows annual prices with a toggle that gives two months free, so the monthly billing figures are the annual price times twelve divided by ten. Tidio changes plans fairly often, so open the live page before you commit.
Tidio pricing plans at a glance
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Billable conversations | Lyro AI conversations | Tidio branding |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 a month | First 50, one time | Shown |
| Starter | $29 | $24.17 a month | 100 a month | 50, one time | Shown |
| Growth | From $59 | From $49.17 a month | From 250, up to 2,000 by tier | Add-on | Removal add-on, $20 a month ($16.67 annually) |
| Plus | From $300 plus usage | Custom | Custom | Custom | Removed |
| Premium | Contact sales | Contact sales | Custom | From 3,000 | Removed |
Growth is priced on a slider: the more billable conversations you pick, the higher the monthly price. The $59 figure is the lowest step, at 250 conversations.
What counts as a billable conversation
A billable conversation on Tidio is a conversation that includes a reply from a human agent on your team. Visitor messages nobody answers are not counted, and replies from Lyro or from Flows do not count as agent replies. That is good news if most chats are handled by people, because you only pay for the ones you answer.
It also means the plan price says nothing about AI. If your goal is a chatbot that answers on its own, the number that matters is how many Lyro conversations you buy, not the plan tier.
Tidio Lyro pricing and the other add-ons
| Add-on | Entry price billed monthly | Entry price billed annually | What you get at entry | Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lyro AI Agent | $39 a month | $32.50 a month | 50 Lyro conversations a month | 50 to 1,000 a month on self serve tiers |
| Flows | $29 a month | $24.17 a month | 2,000 visitors reached | Up to 100,000 visitors reached |
| Branding removal | $20 a month | $16.67 a month | Growth plan only | Included on Plus and Premium |
The pricing page does not list a price for each Lyro tier above 50 conversations. You see it in the configurator as you move the slider, so if you expect a few hundred AI conversations a month, get that exact quote before comparing vendors. Fifty Lyro conversations is roughly two a day, which is a trial volume for most stores rather than a working one.
What Tidio really costs, three worked examples
Here is what three common setups add up to, using only the public entry prices.
| Setup | Line items | Billed monthly | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small site, live chat plus a little AI | Starter + Lyro 50 | $68 | $56.67 a month |
| Growing store, no Tidio badge | Growth 250 + branding removal + Lyro 50 | $118 | $98.34 a month |
| Store with automations | Growth 250 + branding removal + Lyro 50 + Flows | $147 | $122.51 a month |
Every row assumes the smallest Lyro tier. A store that wants the AI agent to handle most incoming questions will move up the Lyro slider, and that line usually becomes the largest part of the bill. Add more billable conversations on Growth and the plan line rises too.
Is Tidio worth it for an AI chatbot
Tidio is worth it when your team wants to answer most chats in person and use AI as a helper. It combines live chat, a shared inbox, ticketing and channels such as Messenger, Instagram and email in one tool, and the Free plan lets a very small shop start at no cost. Its Shopify integration is mature, which matters for stores.
It is less of a fit when you want the AI to do most of the work. Then you are paying for a live chat plan you barely use plus a separately metered AI agent, and the cost moves with every tier change on two sliders. Teams in that position usually compare Tidio with tools priced around AI replies instead of human conversations.
Tidio vs ChatBotWidget on price
ChatBotWidget prices the AI agent itself. Each plan includes a fixed number of AI replies a month, the bot is trained on your own website and files, every answer links its source page, and hard questions go to your inbox through handoff. There is no separate AI add-on to buy.
| Point | Tidio | ChatBotWidget |
|---|---|---|
| What the plan meters | Human answered conversations | AI replies, plus action calls from Business up |
| AI agent | Lyro add-on from $39 a month for 50 conversations | Included in every plan |
| Entry paid price | Starter $29 a month, or $24.17 billed annually | Site $49 a month, or $24 billed yearly, 700 AI replies |
| Branding removed | $20 add-on on Growth, included on Plus | Included from Business, $99 a month or $49 billed yearly |
| Actions in the chat | Flows automations, separate meter | Tickets, CRM leads, bookings and API calls, 1,500 a month on Business |
| Free plan | Yes, 50 conversations a month | No, a one time demo on your own site instead |
| Live chat team features | Strong, built around human agents | Handoff inbox, the AI answers first |
| Channels | Website plus Messenger, Instagram and email | Website widget |
Put the growing store from the table above next to this. On Tidio it is $118 a month for 250 human conversations and 50 AI conversations. On ChatBotWidget Business it is $99 a month, or $49 billed yearly, for 1,500 AI replies, which is about 500 chats at three replies each, with branding removed and booking and CRM actions included. If people on your team answer most chats themselves, Tidio is still the better tool. If you want the bot to answer most of them, the second bill is the one to look at.
The full side by side, including how switching works, is on the Tidio alternative page. Store owners can also see the e-commerce chatbot setup with order lookup, and our pricing page lists every limit.
How to pick a plan without overpaying
Pull last month's chat count from whatever you use now and split it in two: chats a person had to answer, and chats a good bot could have answered from your website. The first number sizes a Tidio plan. The second sizes Lyro on Tidio, or the reply allowance on a tool like ours.
Then build a test bot from your own site before you pay anything. On ChatBotWidget you enter your web address in the box at the top of this page and ask the questions your customers ask. If the answers are right, the cheaper path is clear. If you run an online store, check the cost of the rest of the funnel too: the chatbot answers shipping questions, and a dedicated tool for recovering abandoned carts wins back the shoppers who left without asking anything.

Tidio pricing questions
Is Tidio free?
Tidio has a Free plan with 50 billable conversations a month, a one time allowance of 50 Lyro AI conversations and 100 Flows visitors reached. Tidio branding stays on the widget. It works for a very small site testing live chat, but a business that wants AI answering every day will need a paid plan and the Lyro add-on.
How much does Tidio cost per month?
Tidio Starter costs $29 a month, or $24.17 a month billed annually. Growth starts at $59 a month, or $49.17 billed annually, and rises with the number of conversations you choose. Plus starts at $300 a month plus usage, and Premium is quoted by sales. Lyro AI and Flows are billed on top.
How much does Tidio Lyro cost?
Lyro AI Agent starts at $39 a month, or $32.50 a month billed annually, for 50 Lyro conversations a month. Self serve tiers go up to 1,000 conversations a month, priced in the configurator on the Tidio pricing page. Premium plans include Lyro from 3,000 conversations.
Does Tidio charge per seat?
No, Tidio prices plans by billable conversations rather than by agent seat. A billable conversation is one that includes a reply from a human agent, so the price rises with the volume your team answers, not with how many people log in. Lyro and Flows replies are metered separately.
How much does it cost to remove Tidio branding?
On Growth, removing the Tidio badge is an add-on of $20 a month, or $16.67 a month billed annually. Plus and Premium include it. Starter and Free keep the branding. On ChatBotWidget branding removal is included from the Business plan.
Is Tidio worth it for a small business?
It is worth it if people on your team answer most chats and you want live chat, an inbox and social channels in one place. If you want an AI chatbot that handles most questions on its own, compare the total with Lyro added against tools that include AI replies in the plan price.
