Where an AI support chatbot fits next to your other channels
It does not replace your team or your help center. It sits in front of both and decides which one the customer needs.
| What the customer needs | Help center alone | Email support | AI support chatbot |
|---|---|---|---|
| An answer at 2 am | If they find the article | Next business day | In seconds, with the article linked |
| Steps for their exact problem | Reads the whole page | Written by an agent | The matching steps, in their words |
| Order or account status | No | Agent looks it up | Through your API on Business |
| A person for a real fault | Finds the contact page | Yes | Ticket with the history attached |
| Their own language | Only translated pages | Depends on the team | Replies in the language they write |

Every unanswered question is a missing doc
The Knowledge tab lists the questions the bot could not answer, and on Multi site and Agency analytics also ranks the topics customers ask about most. Write the missing article and the next re-sync closes the gap.
Re-sync runs weekly on Site and daily on Business and higher, so a fix in your docs reaches customers without anyone touching the bot.

How is an AI customer support chatbot different from a FAQ page?
A FAQ page waits for the customer to find the right entry. The chatbot reads the question as written, pulls the matching passages from your docs, policies and FAQ, and replies in a few sentences with links to the exact pages.
Can it troubleshoot technical problems?
Yes, as far as your documentation goes. Upload manuals, setup guides and known fixes as pages or PDF files. The bot walks the customer through the steps it finds and opens a ticket when the docs run out.
How does it create tickets in my helpdesk?
The Create ticket action collects the customer email and a short summary, saves the ticket in your inbox and, if you add a webhook address, sends it there as a signed request. Zendesk, Freshdesk or any tool that accepts webhooks can receive it.
What does it do when the documentation is wrong or missing?
It answers only from what it finds, so a gap shows up in the list of unanswered questions on the Knowledge tab. Fix the page, the next re-sync picks it up, and the same question gets a proper answer.
Does it work in other languages?
Yes. Your docs can stay in English while customers write in their own language. The bot replies in the language of the question and links the original pages.
Ask your own docs a hard question
Enter your help center or website address, ask what your customers ask, and look at the sources under each answer.
